Dr. Philip S. S. Howard is an Associate Professor in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE) at McGill University's Faculty of Education. His work focuses on Black Studies in Education, Critical Race Theory, and anti-Black racism in educational contexts. He holds a PhD from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education and has held prestigious teaching awards including the 2021 Carrie M. Derick Teaching Award.
