Professor Philip Linsley is a Professor of Accounting and Risk at the University of York's School for Business and Society, within the Accounting and Finance department. He holds a PhD from The York Management School and is a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy. His research focuses on risk reporting, risk management, and cultural theory applications, particularly using neo-Durkheimian frameworks to analyze organizational risk dynamics. He co-founded the European Risk Research Network (ERRN) to advance pan-European risk management research.
