Philip Lee serves as Professor of Law at St. John's University School of Law, teaching Civil Rights & Civil Liberties, Property, Race and the Law, and Education Law since joining in 2023 after a decade at UDC David A. Clarke School of Law.

Research centers on academic freedom, diversity in educational access, K-12 school law, higher education history, and property law intersections with race.
