Karen Swenson

Dr. Karen Swenson is Professor and Chair of the Political Science Department at Eastern Illinois University, where she also serves as Pre-Law Coordinator. She holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University and a Ph.D. from Ohio State University. Her academic work focuses on the intersection of law and politics, with specialized expertise in Supreme Court processes and amicus curiae advocacy.
