Fr. Philip Larrey is an Assistant Professor of the Practice in the Philosophy Department at Boston College. He previously served as Chair of Logic and Epistemology and Dean of the Philosophy Department at the Pontifical Lateran University in the Vatican. His research focuses on philosophy of knowledge, critical thinking, and the societal impacts of digital advancements and AI.
Education: B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. from the Pontifical Gregorian University, and a B.A. from the Ateneo Pontificio Regina Apostolorum.
Research highlights include books such as Artificial Humanity (2019), analyzing AI's philosophical implications, and Connected World (translated into Italian as Dove inizia il futuro), exploring digital culture's societal effects. His work bridges ethics, technology, and theology.
