Philip Feng is the Rhines Endowed Professor for Quantum Engineering and Associate Chair for Research at the University of Florida, College of Engineering. His work bridges nanotechnology, quantum engineering, and solid-state devices.

His research interests focus on Nanoelectromechanical Systems (NEMS), quantum transduction, high-temperature materials, and precision measurement. Recent work explores 2D magnets, MoS2 resonators, and Ising dynamics for quantum computing applications.
Recent publications highlight advancements in temperature-compensated resonators, high-temperature AlScN, and quantum sensing using 2D antiferromagnets. Collaborative projects include optomechanical hybrid systems and thermal management in 2D electronics.
