Philip C. Kaplan

Philip C. Kaplan is an Associate Professor of Academic Support at Suffolk University Law School’s Academic Support Department and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Law Department at Bentley College. He has also taught as an adjunct in the Department of Sociology at Northeastern University and New Hampshire College.

Professor Kaplan focuses on legal education, particularly in legal writing, bankruptcy law, and practical skills training. He has guest lectured on Bankruptcy Law at the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover and the VISA Bankruptcy Reduction Program in Irving, Texas, and has lectured for various banking and attorney groups.

He is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and the Federal District of Vermont, with prior full-time association with the Law Offices of Colette Manoil (1988–1997). He teaches courses in Legal Practice Skills and Legal Writing Elective at Suffolk University Law School.
