Philip Blees is a Researcher at the Berlin School of Economics and Law, affiliated with the Research Competence Center on Global Supply and Value Chains. He is currently pursuing his doctorate at the Université Paris Sorbonne Nord under the title Towards a Varieties of Socio-Economic Productivity Regimes Approach.
- Education: Master in Economic Policies for the Global Transition (EPOG+) from multiple institutions including Berlin School of Economics and Law and Sorbonne University; Bachelor in Economics from Free University of Berlin.
His research integrates Post-Keynesian economics with analyses of economic growth, distribution conflicts, and endogenous technological change. He focuses on socio-economic productivity regimes, institutional dynamics, and class struggle within growth frameworks.
Recent publications include the 2025 working paper Productivity Growth and Class Struggle in a Growth Regime Framework, which explores the interplay between labor conflicts and productivity trends. This work aligns with his broader interest in distributional dynamics and institutional resilience.
