Phil Bressler

Phil Bressler is a Lecturer at the University of Kansas' William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications, based at the Edwards Campus. He brings over thirty years of industry experience to his academic role, currently serving as Director of Client Services & Creative at Rhycom, a marketing agency in Overland Park, KS.

His professional background includes significant work with major brands such as McDonald's, Quaker State, PepsiCo, and Sonic Drive-Ins. Notably, he is a graduate of McDonald's Hamburger Marketing University inaugural class and has held positions in Oklahoma City, Salt Lake City, and Chicago throughout his career.

Bressler's teaching integrates practical insights from integrated marketing communications, creative campaign development, and client relationship management. His industry-academia bridge provides students with real-world perspectives on marketing challenges and solutions.

He holds a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Kansas and maintains active engagement with the marketing industry through his agency role.
