Petur Jonasson serves as Head of classical guitar studies at the Iceland Academy of the Arts while completing doctoral studies at the Royal College of Music. His research focuses on early visual memorisation processes of complex and contemporary music through the Centre for Performance Science, a partnership between RCM and Imperial College London.
