Petra Lilja is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Design, Linnaeus University, within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. Her work critically examines the role of design in addressing global challenges like climate change and inequality, focusing on transformative approaches through critical posthumanism and speculative design. She teaches at both bachelor's and master's levels in the Design + Change programs, emphasizing sustainability and emerging design disciplines.
Her research includes the artistic collective Det Dolda and collaborations with Goldsmiths and Falmouth University via the We Are All St Sea collective. Petra also runs her own design studio in Malmö, engaging in freelance curation and interdisciplinary projects like BOOST.
