Petra Buys serves as a Researcher at Ruhr University Bochum's Research and Treatment Center for Mental Health (FBZ), specifically within the Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology department. Since November 2024, she has held the position of Managing Director for the Psychotherapy Outpatient Clinic for Children and Adolescents, while maintaining her role as Scientific Employee at the Chair of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology since 2020.
Her academic background includes a psychology degree from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg (2006-2012), where she previously worked as a student assistant in Developmental and General Psychology departments (2008-2011).
Dr. Buys' research critically examines:
