Peter Thorau

Peter Thorau is a Professor at Saarland University's Historical Institute, specializing in the history of the Middle Ages and the Near East. His research focuses on the Crusades, the Mamluk Empire, the Ottoman Empire, the Staufer period, and Emperor Henry VII (1308–1313), alongside the Luxembourg dynasty.
