Peter Spettenhuber

Prof. Dr. Peter Spettenhuber holds a Professorship for Accounting and Auditing at Allensbach University. With extensive experience in both academia and professional practice, he specializes in taxation, accounting, and corporate succession planning.

His educational background includes studies in finance and economics at the Ludwigsburg University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration and Finance, the University of Hagen and the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster. He completed his doctorate at the Catholic University of Eichstätt Ingolstadt under Prof. Dr. Dr. Djanani with a thesis on the taxation of family businesses.

Prof. Spettenhuber's research focuses on the organization of family businesses, structuring of private assets, company acquisition and sale, and company succession. His work bridges theoretical academic research with practical applications in tax consulting and auditing. His publications span topics in international tax planning, financial statement consolidation, and income tax law, reflecting his expertise in both German and international financial regulations.
