Peter Sinclair

Dr. Peter Sinclair is a Research Professor in the Department of Sociology at Memorial University's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. He holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh and specializes in maritime, environmental, political sociology, and socio-economic development. His research includes interdisciplinary projects like the Ecosystem Research Project and Coasts under Stress, focusing on environmental and human health impacts.

Dr. Sinclair has published over 100 refereed articles and books on natural resource management, fisheries, and environmental policy. He is actively involved in oceans management as part of the Oceans Management Research Network.
