Dr. Peter Scherrer is a University Professor of Classical Archaeology at the Institute for Antiquity, Faculty of Humanities, University of Graz. His research spans classical and provincial Roman archaeology, ancient epigraphy, medieval archaeology in Austria, and the study of ancient architectural and settlement history with a focus on urban planning, particularly in the context of Greco-Roman religious archaeology and ruler cult intellectual history.
