Peter S. Cook is a Senior Lecturer in the Council of the Humanities and Program in Linguistics at Princeton University. He is an internationally renowned Deaf performing artist specializing in American Sign Language, storytelling, and ASL literature. Previously, he served as Associate Professor and Chair of the ASL Department at Columbia College Chicago (2011–202?).

- M.A. in Storytelling from East Tennessee State University (2011)
Research & Performance: Cook’s work integrates ASL, pantomime, and interdisciplinary performance. He has performed globally with Flying Words Project and appeared on PBS programs like 'United States of Poetry.' Notable engagements include the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage, White House National Book Festival (2003), and international storytelling festivals in Graz (Austria) and Brazil.
