Noah Buchholz is a Senior Lecturer in the Council of the Humanities and the Program in Linguistics at Princeton University, and serves as Director of the American Sign Language (ASL) Program. He holds the additional role of ASL Course Sequence Head. His primary affiliation is with Princeton University, where he contributes to both academic and linguistic initiatives.
Education: Currently a PhD candidate in Religion & Society at Princeton Theological Seminary.
Research interests span disability/Deaf studies, political theology, postcolonial/decolonial studies, translation, literature, theatre, and film. He actively engages in ASL performance art, translation work, and serves as a Certified Deaf Interpreter.
Professional roles include leadership in the ASL Program and coordination of ASL course sequences. Collaborations and outreach activities are supported through his directorship and interdisciplinary connections.
