Peter Roland

Peter Roland is a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and Professor of Neurological Surgery at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He also serves as Chief of Pediatric Otology at Children’s Medical Center. His roles include surgical procedures at multiple hospitals and chairmanship of five committees, including Quality Assurance, Ethics, and HIPAA Compliance. He specializes in otology, neurotology, and skull base surgery, with expertise in cochlear implants and acoustic neuroma treatment.

His military service included four years in the U.S. Navy at Bethesda Naval Hospital, where he held faculty roles and consulted for NIH.
