Peter Rogers is a Senior Lecturer at Macquarie University's School of Communication, Society and Culture, and a member of the Housing and Urban Research Centre. He holds academic leadership roles, including Programme Director for Sociology (2016–2019) and Co-Director of the Masters of Research in Sociology (2020–present). His expertise spans disaster resilience, social and spatial theory, and collaborative action research, focusing on policy translation, urban resilience, and gaming culture's role in community building.
