Peter Pfälzner

Prof. Dr. Peter Pfälzner is a C3-Professor for Near Eastern Archaeology at the University of Tübingen's Faculty of Humanities since 1996. His academic career spans roles at Freie Universität Berlin (1990-1992), German Archaeological Institute (1986-1990), and DFG-funded research positions (1992-1996). A corresponding member of the German Archaeological Institute and member of the German Oriental Society, his work focuses on Northern Mesopotamian urbanism and material culture.
