Peter Petropoulos

Peter Petropoulos is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). His research focuses on fluid dynamics, electrohydrodynamics, and computational mathematics, with a particular emphasis on the effects of electric fields on fluid interfaces and instabilities. He has led or co-led multiple National Science Foundation (NSF)-funded projects, including studies on electrohydrodynamic mixing, computational mathematics conferences, and mathematical sciences computing environments. His work spans theoretical, numerical, and applied aspects of fluid dynamics and electromagnetism, with applications in materials science and engineering.
