Professor Peter North is a Professor of Alternative Economies at the University of Liverpool's School of Environmental Sciences, part of the Faculty of Science and Engineering. His work focuses on social and solidarity economies, climate change policy, and post-communist transitions. North holds a BA in History and Politics (1984), an MA in Peace Studies (1993), and a PhD from the University of Bristol (1997).
