Jérôme Blanc is a Full Professor of Economics at Sciences Po Lyon and an economist specializing in monetary systems, socio-economics, and alternative currencies. He holds an accreditation to supervise research (2009) and a doctorate in economics (1998) from Lumière Lyon 2 University. His research focuses on monetary plurality, socio-economic models, and the role of alternative currencies in fostering social and ecological resilience. He is the director of the Veblen Institute for Economic Reforms (since 2010) and president of RAMICS, an international research association on monetary innovations. Key roles include:
