Peter Nirmalraj is a molecular surface physicist and Researcher currently leading the Biosensing and Functional Surfaces research group at the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (Empa). His work bridges cutting-edge nanoscale imaging techniques and biomedical applications.

- High-resolution scanning probe microscopy to study structure/dynamics of biomolecules and organic materials
