Peter Møller

Peter Møller is a Professor at the Department of Public Health, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He obtained his Master's in Human Biology (1995), followed by a PhD and Doctor of Medical Science in genetic toxicology of environmental agents.

• Focus areas: Combustion-derived particles, nanomaterials, cardiovascular disease mechanisms, cancer, inflammation, oxidative stress, DNA repair
• Expertise in human health impacts of air pollution

His research spans controlled human exposure studies, experimental animal models, and cell cultures, addressing the pathogenic effects of particulate matter. He has contributed to global health assessments as an IARC Working Group Member for outdoor air pollution (2013) and nanomaterials/fibers (2014).
