معرفی
Peter Mutsaers is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Applied Physics and Science Education, Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). He is affiliated with the Coherence and Quantum Technology group and contributes to the Core Center for Quantum Materials and Technology Eindhoven (ICMS).
- Research focuses on accelerator technology, ultrafast electron microscopy, and compact X-ray sources
- Key projects: Dynamic Phase Space Shaping (DPSS) for ultrafast electron microscopy, Smart*light (ultrabright X-ray source), and ICS-SAXS (Inverse Compton Scattering X-ray metrology)
His work bridges quantum technology and biomedical applications, such as studying atherosclerosis via cellular element analysis. Recent publications highlight advancements in femtosecond-level electron beam diagnostics, photodiode-based time-zero alignment, and table-top Inverse Compton Scattering sources for semiconductor metrology.
Research trends: Integration of RF cavity physics with quantum optics, development of ultrafast imaging tools, and optimization of X-ray metrology for industrial applications.
He teaches courses in
- Subatomic Physics
