Peter Mallios

Peter Mallios is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Maryland, specializing in modern American literature, global modernism, and prison education initiatives. He holds a law background and leads the Maryland Prison English Initiative, advocating for prison education programs. His research focuses on multiethnic U.S. literature, democratic theory, and the intersection of law and literature.
