Peter Liddel is a Professor of Greek History and Epigraphy at the University of Manchester's Department of Classics, Ancient History & Egyptology. He holds editorial roles, including Co-Editor of Brill's New Jacoby and the Annual of the British School at Athens. His research focuses on Athenian politics, Greek epigraphy, and the reception of ancient Greece in modern historiography. Recent projects include studies on fourth-century Athenian decrees and Greek inscriptions in UK collections.
