Peter Landry is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the University of Toronto, cross-appointed to the Rotman School of Management and the Department of Management at the University of Toronto, Mississauga. His research focuses on behavioral economics, consumer choice, and marketing, with a particular emphasis on the effects of limited attention and perception on economic decisions. He holds a PhD in Economics from Duke University (2013) and a BS from the University of Michigan (2006).
Landry’s work spans theoretical and empirical frameworks, addressing topics such as present bias, task-switching, neuroeconomic models, and behavioral interventions. His publications include studies on organic product listings, cue-induced attention, and habit formation. He frequently collaborates with scholars like Joshua Gans, Ryan Webb, and Michael Dalton, contributing to journals such as Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Economic Psychology, and Quantitative Marketing and Economics.
