Peter Kuniholm is Professor of Anthropology and Research Professor at the University of Arizona's Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research. He specializes in dendrochronological applications for archaeological and historical dating.
His research establishes precise chronologies for ancient Mediterranean civilizations through tree-ring analysis. Kuniholm has developed extensive dendrochronological sequences spanning millennia, notably contributing to Aegean, Anatolian, and Near Eastern chronologies.
