Peter Jeffreys is an Associate Professor of English at Suffolk University, specializing in Modern Greek Literature, British Modernism, and Literary Decadence. His research focuses on C.P. Cavafy, the Bloomsbury Group, and Byzantine cultural studies. He co-authored Constantine Cavafy: A New Biography (2025) and edited Approaches to Teaching the Work of Cavafy (2024), among other publications. Jeffreys is a member of the Cavafy Academic Committee (Onassis Foundation) and co-organized the 2023 International Cavafy Summer School. His work bridges literary analysis with interdisciplinary topics like art, history, and religion.
