Peter Jacko

Peter Jacko is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Management Science at Lancaster University, UK, since 2013. He is affiliated with the Data Science Institute and STOR-i Centre for Doctoral Training. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Quantitative Methods from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (2009) and degrees in Mathematics from Univerzita P.J. Šafárika v Košiciach (Slovakia). His research focuses on stochastic modeling, sequential decision-making, and optimal resource allocation, particularly in adaptive clinical trials, business systems, and communications networks. He has co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and supervised numerous PhD students, some of whom have received awards. He is also a Senior Decision Scientist at Berry Consultants since 2021.
