Peter Høyer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Calgary, Faculty of Science. He holds a PhD from Odense University (now part of the University of Southern Denmark) under supervisors Joan Boyar and Gilles Brassard. His research focuses on quantum computing, algorithmics, complexity theory, cryptography, and foundational computer science.
