Gilles Brassard is a Full Professor at the Université de Montréal, affiliated with the Department of Computer Science and Operations Research. He holds the Canada Research Chair in Quantum Information Science since 2001 and has been a pivotal figure in quantum cryptography and quantum computing since 1988.
