Dr. Peter Hausdorf is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Guelph, affiliated with the College of Social & Applied Human Sciences. He holds a PhD in Business Administration from McMaster University and an MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Guelph. His research focuses on three primary areas: accuracy/fairness of employee selection methods, employee health/well-being, and organizational effectiveness. Notable contributions include studies on structured interviews mitigating gender bias and socio-cultural factors in test score disparities. He has been recognized with the 2017 Best Paper Award from Police Research and Practice. Dr. Hausdorf actively involves graduate students in research projects, emphasizing collaborative authorship.
