Peter H. Verburg

Prof. Peter H. Verburg is a Full Professor in Environmental Spatial Analysis at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, leading the Environmental Geography group within the Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM) under the Faculty of Science. He holds roles as a member of the Earth Commission and the Science-Policy Interface of UNCCD, and co-Editor-in-Chief of Landscape and Urban Planning. His work focuses on land use modeling, interdisciplinary research, and sustainability challenges, notably developing the globally used CLUE model.
