Peter Graham Mortyn

Peter Graham Mortyn is a Professor in the Department of Geography at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), affiliated with the Marine and Environmental Biogeosciences Research Group (MERS) at the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA-UAB). He holds a Ph.D. in Oceanography from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (2000) and has held academic positions at institutions including California State University, Fresno, and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His research focuses on marine biogeosciences, particularly planktonic foraminifera and their role in understanding climate change, ocean acidification, and paleoenvironmental reconstruction.
