Prof. Peter Goerke-Mallet is an Honorary Professor at TH Georg Agricola and Lecturer in Geoengineering and Post-Mining. He has been active in professional practice since 2015, serving as Head of the Special Project "Old Mining/Flooding/Long-term Water Management" at Ibbenbüren Mine since 2009. His roles include leadership in technical and administrative capacities within RAG Anthrazit and prior institutions, alongside extensive experience in mine surveying and water management.
Education: Dr.-Ing. (Engineering Doctorate) from RWTH Aachen (2000), Graduate Engineer in Mine Surveying from Clausthal University of Technology (1983–1985). Professional qualifications include Assessor in Mine Surveying and training at the Clausthal-Zellerfeld Mining Authority.
