Peter Gee is a Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice at the University of Tasmania's School of Pharmacy and Pharmacology. His research focuses on optimizing medication use in aged care and community settings, particularly in reducing inappropriate sedative prescribing and improving adherence to chronic disease therapies. He has led or contributed to multiple nationally-funded projects, including the RedUSe initiative to lower antipsychotic/benzodiazepine use in aged care facilities and the development of mobile health interventions like the Quittr smoking cessation app.
