Professor Peter Enticott is the Pro Vice-Chancellor for Research Planning and Governance at Deakin University, within the Research and Innovation Portfolio. He holds a Professorial appointment in the School of Psychology and is a member of the Brain Systems and Neurotherapeutics (BSN) Lab and co-leads the Neurosciences Innovation Hub in SEED. His research focuses on the neurobiological basis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), employing advanced neuroscience techniques such as EEG, fMRI, and non-invasive brain stimulation. He has authored over 200 scientific articles and secured major grants from NHMRC, ARC, and international foundations. Key awards include the Young Tall Poppy Science Award and the Monash University Rising Research Star Award. His work includes leading a large MRFF-funded trial of TMS for ASD and exploring medicinal cannabis in autism. He completed his PhD at Monash University in 2006.
