Peter Ekman is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the USC School of Architecture, affiliated with the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences (via the Center on Science, Technology, and Public Life) and the Berggruen Institute. He holds a Ph.D. in Geography from UC Berkeley (2016) and an A.B. from Harvard (2007). His research focuses on the history and theory of landscape, urbanism, and the built environment, with emphasis on postwar urban studies, interdisciplinary research networks, and the socio-spatial dynamics of cities in crisis and renewal.
