Professor Peter Dunstan is a faculty member in the Physics Department at Swansea University, affiliated with the Faculty of Science and Engineering. He holds the academic rank of Professor and specializes in advanced spectroscopic techniques, particularly Raman spectroscopy and scanning probe microscopy, with applications in cancer diagnostics, nanomaterials, and biosensing. His research focuses on developing innovative methods for early cancer detection, including colorectal and breast cancer, using serum-based spectroscopic approaches.
His expertise includes nano-reporters, biospectroscopy, nanoparticle functionalization, and nanoscale physics.
