Peter Doyle

Peter Doyle is an Associate Professor at Macquarie University's School of Communication, Society and Culture, and Honorary Associate Professor with the Centre for Media History (CMH). He holds a PhD from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Arts (Communications) from UTS. His work bridges academic research, creative writing, and curation, focusing on crime history, popular music, and cultural archives.

Research interests include forensic photography, crime narratives, and musicology, evidenced by projects like the Sydney Police Museum exhibitions (e.g., 'City of Shadows') and publications such as Echo and Reverb and Suburban Noir.
