Emeritus Professor Peter Downton is affiliated with RMIT University's School of Architecture and Urban Design (AUD) at City Campus, Australia. His research interests span Architecture, Performing arts, Screen and digital media, with a focus on Practice-based Designing, Philosophy, Art Theory and Criticism, Curriculum and Pedagogy, and Visual Arts and Crafts. He has supervised projects such as 'Joy, delight, simultaneity: Stepping, side stepping and between stepping with architecture' (2015) and 'The heavens and the heartbeat: The telescope and observer as sights of revelation, awe and wonder' (2005).
