Peter Dennedy-Frank is an Assistant Professor at Northeastern University with a joint appointment in the Departments of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Marine and Environmental Sciences within the College of Engineering. His research focuses on ecohydrologic modeling for water resources and conservation, blending interdisciplinary approaches to address environmental challenges. He holds a PhD in Hydrology from Stanford University (2018), MS degrees in Earth System Science (Stanford, 2015) and Earth and Planetary Sciences (MIT, 2006), and a BS from Caltech (2003).
Research Interests: His work emphasizes watershed restoration, groundwater management, and sustainable resource engineering. He explores how land-use changes and subsurface dynamics influence water systems, with applications in environmental policy and ecohydrology. Recent studies include global watershed simulations and economic analyses of conservation programs in Brazil.
Advising & Grants: Dennedy-Frank mentors undergraduate researchers through Northeastern’s PEAK Experiences Awards, fostering hands-on environmental research. His lab, the Water Resources Ecohydrology Lab, drives collaborative efforts in environmental modeling and policy. Though no specific grants are detailed, his publications reflect sustained interdisciplinary engagement.
