Peter Davies is a Professor of Sustainability at Macquarie University's School of Natural Sciences. He serves as an executive member of the Smart Green Cities Research Centre and the Centre for Environmental Law, with additional affiliations to the Transforming Energy Markets Research Centre, Advanced Drone Systems Research Centre, and Pollinator Futures Research Centre. After commencing his academic career in 2012 following 20 years in government and consultancy roles, Professor Davies brings extensive practical experience in water management, environmental protection, and energy sectors to his academic work.
Professor Davies' research focuses on interdisciplinary approaches to sustainable urban development, with particular expertise in waterway management, land use planning, and environmental governance.
