Peter Cavallo is a Lecturer in the Department of Political Sciences and Communication (DISPC) at the University of Salerno. He is affiliated with the History and Audiovisual Media Laboratory and actively engages in interdisciplinary research connecting historical narratives with cinematic and audiovisual media.
His teaching and research focus on the intersection of history and cinema, exploring how visual storytelling shapes collective memory and political discourse. He has organized a Master Class Workshop titled "History and Cinema" at the Imbucci Hall on the Fisciano Campus, with sessions held from January 17–31, 2020, and subsequent meetings scheduled collaboratively with students.
