Peter Bufano is an Assistant Professor in the Screen Scoring department at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. A composer and multi-instrumentalist, he specializes in film and circus music, having scored productions for Big Apple Circus, Ringling Bros., and Spiegelworld. He founded the circus band Cirkestra and has performed at venues including the Kennedy Center and Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Creative Leadership: As founder of Cirkestra, he has produced 23 albums and scored over 15 films/circus productions. He regularly collaborates with troupes like Bindlestiff Family Cirkus and Parallel Exit.
