Peter Buckoke is a Professor of Double Bass and Area Leader for the Alexander Technique at the Royal College of Music, London. He performs on both modern and baroque double bass with prominent chamber ensembles, including the Nash Ensemble and multiple award-winning string quartets. As co-author of The Alexander Technique for Musicians (Bloomsbury, 2013), he contributes to pedagogical literature. His collaborations span major chamber groups in London’s classical music scene.
